Let me tell you about the time I thought I was the next lash extension queen but ended up creating a lash catastrophe that left my client in tears. It was a day filled with humor, tears, and a valuable lesson learned.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was so excited to practice my newfound lash extension skills on a real model for the first time. Little did I know that those innocent-looking lashes had other plans for me.

As soon as I started working on her, I realized I was in way over my head. The lashes were slipping, sticking together, and just refusing to cooperate. Five hours passed in what felt like a blink of an eye, and I was nowhere near finishing the set. Panic started to set in, but I tried to keep a brave face for my client.

When I finally showed her the mirror, her face fell, and tears welled up in her eyes. Oh, the horror! I felt like the worst lash technician in the world. I apologized profusely and offered to pay her for her time. It was a moment of humility and a hard lesson in the making.

But you know what, darling? That experience taught me more than any successful set ever could. It taught me that practice makes perfect, and every expert was once a beginner. It's okay to make mistakes, to fail, and to have clients cry over your work. What matters is how you handle it and how you grow from it.

To all my current students out there, remember this: you don't have to wait until you're perfect to start something. Embrace your imperfections, learn from your failures, and keep pushing forward. One bad lash set (or ten) does not define your journey or your potential. Keep practicing, keep learning, and one day, you'll look back and laugh at the disasters that once made you cry.

So chin up, lashes on, and go conquer the world, my dear students. The only way to become a master is to first be a disaster!😌

Picture this: stuck at home during lockdown, feeling like a caged bird with nothing to do. That's when I stumbled upon a new hobby - lash-extension!!

So there I was, binge-watching YouTube tutorials like my life depended on it. I thought, "Hey, I can totally nail this lash game!" Oh, how wrong I was!

My first DIY lash extension attempt was a hot mess. I looked like a raccoon with a bad makeup day. Feeling guilty, I roped in a neighbor from my building as a guinea pig - I mean, a model. Let's just say her lashes turned out so wonky, I had to pay her RM 100 as a peace offering. Lesson learned: lash artistry is no joke!🥹

But did I throw in the towel? Not a chance! I dove headfirst into online courses, got myself a lash mentor, and practiced like my life depended on it. I was obsessed!.

And Slowly but surely, I started offering my services to the ladies in my building. I made sure to tell them straight up that I was a newbie lash tech, setting those expectations low and crossing my fingers for the best.😌

To my surprise, word spread faster than gossip in a small town! Before I knew it, half the girls in the building were knocking on my door, clamoring for lash makeovers. I felt like a lash magician sprinkling fairy dust wherever I went!

When the lockdown chains finally loosened, I took a leap of faith and plunged into the deep end of social media advertising. And boy, did that pay off big time! My little lash business blossomed into a full-blown empire with employees, multiple locations, and clients lining up out the door.❤️

But you know what's even better? My heart is now set on helping other girls find their own path to lash success. Watching them bloom and grow like little lash butterflies warms my soul like a cozy blanket on a chilly night.🤍

From a bored girl with a dream to a lash queen on a mission, my journey has been one wild, hilarious ride. Who would've thought that a hobby born out of sheer boredom would lead me to financial freedom, independence, and a whole lot of laughter along the way? Life sure has a funny way of surprising us, doesn't it?🧿

Why I would never use pinching method for making a fan!!

The first and big one for me is, Cross-contamination: When using the pinching method, technicians often touch the natural lashes and the extensions with their fingers or tools multiple times during the fan creation process. If proper hygiene practices are not followed, there is a risk of cross-contamination between clients, as bacteria, oils, or debris from one client's lashes can be transferred to another client's lashes.

Also, it's time consuming. And much harder to perfect than other methods of making fans. Also it can create uneven application......

So if you want to learn my techniques which are more quicker to do, easy to perfect and you dont have to worry about cross-contamination......
